2 Day South Coast Tour - Blue Ice cave - Jökulsárlón - and more
Blue Ice cave - Waterfalls - Jökulsárlón iceberg lagoon - Black Sands at Reynisfjara
Join this astonishing tour along Iceland’s south coast to discover the unique landscape, natural blue Ice cave, glacier tongues, icebergs, lava fields, volcanos, black beaches, mighty rivers, and magic waterfalls.
We will pick you up in Reykjavik in the morning and head out for two days unforgettable adventure exploring the many amazing natural wonders of the South Coast of Iceland.
On the first day, visits to the famous waterfalls, Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss are amongst the highlights, but you also visit the less known but no less beautiful waterfalls of Gljufrabúi, Kvernufoss. We finish the day at Reynisfjara black beach with its incredible surroundings and broad view to Dyrhólaey arch.
After a good rest, your adventure continues the second day where you will visit the beautiful Skaftafell and Svínafellsjökull, the glacier tongue that represent the "north of the wall" in Game of Thrones. From this fascinating world of cold and ice we drive to Jökulsárlón and the Diamond Beach. The amazing black beach that is scattered with icebergs, next to Jökulsárlón glacier / iceberg lagoon. The stunning Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon is where huge icebergs fall from the glacier tongue Breiðamerkurjökull and float in ice cold water and seals swim around them.
The highlight of the tour is a visit to a natural ice cave in Vatnajökull glacier. But now you go under the ice at Iceland’s largest glacier into a magical blue world to experience the ice cave. A cave that is formed by the many mighty rivers during summer floating under the glacier. It is an experience you will only find here in Iceland.
