This week we are traveling in the Icelandic Highland collecting content and photos for our website Hit Iceland. We started by driving the Línuvegur road south of Langjokull glacier. Then we drove to Kjolur and took the eight-kilometer drive to Hagavatn lake. From there we drove to Kerlingafjoll and stayed at the camping site. The next day we visited the most amazing hot spring area in Iceland, Hveradalir. Hvradalir in the Kelingafjoll mountains in the Icelandic Highland is a world of its own. It is almost like entering another dimension or taking a trip to another planet when walking through the many colors, boiling water, screaming steam and splashing clay from the hot springs. This week we are traveling in the Icelandic Highland collecting content and photos for our website Hit Iceland. After spending a few hours in the wonderland of hot springs, boiling water, steam and colors we drove to Hveravellir. Although I have regularly visited the Highland for more than 30 years, it never stops to amaze me. This picture is taken at Hveravellir and shows the many ways you can enjoy Iceland and what it has to offer. Even at the altitude of 650 meters, it is always an elbow space for all kinds of activity and fun.
